Xbox Music, Games and Video Apps don't work

I can't launch the Xbox Music app, Games app or Video app. My music is still there as I can ask Cortana to play a song and it will play. Clicking the tile does nothing.

I have tried several soft resets to no avail.

Also the Calendar, Podcast and Battery apps are not present. Instead I have some weird place holder for them that looks like @{Microsoft.MSBattery}, @{Microsoft.MSCalendar} and @{Microsoft.MSPodcast}. I can't seem to find these apps to download either.

Also repeatedly checked for updates under settings and nothing. I have heard of folks complaining that Xbox Music is slow but I can't even get it to launch.

Wow, you may have to go for the hard reset.

Dillenger, did it resolved by hard resetting as suggested by Nimdock?

Hard reset fixed it. OneDrive was busted too so I had an old backup which stinks. Oh well.
