Is it possible to use a NL925 backup on a NL625 device with WP8.1?

Hi all,

My NL925 has a broken mic, and I have to send it back to Nokia for repair. I hope to get a NL625 in the meanwhile, but I was wondering if it's possible to backup my NL925 WP8.1 and put the backup file on a NL625 WP8.1. Would that be possible?

I can't see why not. I did this when I upgraded form a 920 to 1020, although this was on WP 8 admittedly. You'd have to make sure that the 625 was on 8.1 first then do a factory reset and then use the back-up (making sure that the 625 didn't back itself up first on the same MS account). If the 625 isn't on 8.1 already the safest way would probably be to upgrade the 625 using a different MS account to the one your 925 uses, then reset the phone and set it up using the MS account associated with the 925.
