Facebook app not working

I Have updated to windows 8.1 on lumia 720 and my facebook app is not working.

when i open the app it gets close automatically after 5 secs. i also tried reinstalling but same results.

please tell how to fix this.

Hello,
when upgrading to windows 8.1 the old applications always get transferred during the upgrade so probably the app wasn't transferred correctly try uninstalling and downloading a new facebook app
