MS camera slow

Hi. I have a 620 and the preview.
My MS cam app starts very slow. The app itself loads after few seconds, but then the screen is black for about 5 secs, I just see the interface. Nokia cam isn't installed, makes no sense with 620 imo. SD card is class 10, not many pics on it. Worked fine before 8.1

Yep. The native camera app takes about 5 secs for me to work normally. It's alright though, the Cyan firmware update will fix that.

Yes its very slow for 512mb ram users. I hope it will be fixed when optimized for all phones eparately.

i feel your pain. from black screen (inactive) to snapping the photo its taking 9 seconds on my 520. it was considerably faster with the bare bones nokia camera app (not the beta with the burst mode) . this lag appeared after updating to 8.1 & i would imagine is related to all the extra features in the new camera app

the problem is , the bare bones nokia app is no longer available. i have lost countless shots due to this lag.
my lumia used to be so good & quick as a camera i stopped using my sony compact.

MS / Nokia please address this
