    It's still in 8.1
    Here's how to get it
    1. Play music
    2. Open IE and open mp3 file
    3. Tap now playing under volume key
    4. Pin artist/playlist/etc. To start screen

    I get it. Go to mp3skull.com or any site where you can download song, but instead of "saving", "open" the file to play. Then hit volume key, and tap on the song. It goes directly to old Music hub. thx you Jesus.



    I noticed the old hub doesn't ha e the background images anymore.

    This is neat but you can also just use any file manager to open any music file for the same result. This is the standard music viewer, it existed in 8.0, and it's not quite the same as the old music hub.

    I recommend the app swipe tunes, even over the 8.0 music player.
