How to-Retain the ability to post to facebook from the Me tile

Step one: Hard reset.
Step two: Don't restore
Step three: Ignore the prompts which ask you to install the new facebook app.
Step 4: Profit.


Downsides- Its only good for posting to facebook without using the app.

Funny.
When I got my Nokia Icon it was the first Windows Phone I have had since Windows Mobile 6.
I could have sworn that out of the box I was able to post to Facebook from some built in app.
Then I soon installed Windows 8.1 Preview within days of owning the phone and then installed the Facebook app etch and I thought something was different with Facebook integration.

I can still update Facebook from the ME tile, but I click on the option to post to Facebook and I think it just opens the Facebook app.

I think you can install the app as long as you refuse to let it invade your people hub that first time. Once it does that...

Installed WP8. Realized apps can't be transferred to SD card. Plus IE sucks on WP8. So installed 8.1 today again...but one thing I want to point out..it didn't ask me for a Restore option today. It just had this in the Me Tile on its own...

I remembered you haha you phone is back on windows phone 8.1 but in future if you want to downgrade , just connect your phone to the same PC and it will just restore it. BOOM , it wont download any file/ROM since you have already downloaded them from nokia servers
