Unable to backup since 8.1. Anyone else got this issue?

I haven't personally had this issue but have seen A LOT of people complain about it. The backup gets stuck at 94 or 96% and doesn't complete ever. So far no fixes. But try disabling the app backup to see what happens.
Also try to log out of MS account and log back in again or just sync it manually.
As a last resort, open onedrive.com and go to devices in the left side and delete the backup that was created. Then try backing up again.

I'm not sure any of these will work but most likely it's a problem with OneDrive connection.

i had this problem, if you login to your one drive and go to settings->Options and then click on device backups on the left. You should see backups of all the Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8 devices you have. Delete the backup for your phone, give it a couple of minutes and then do the back up on the phone, it should go through this time.

Doing this worked for me, it's almost as if the backup saved is corrupt or incompatible with the backup the phone is trying to create.
