Start screen: geometric, 3D images work best with transparent tiles

Try a nice medium to dark blue ocean ripple scene - it gives the start screen the correct shade of blue. I enlarge the water between the two cliffs in the stock wallpapers. Looks great !

I think soft natural images look best behind the tiles. Computer generated art reminds me too much of Android.

Soft works but for my tastes, 3D geometrics do it. When the icons slide over, its like you can see some levels deep. I never used this with android so if I were you, I wouldn't use them.

I tried a pic of open sea water...I did like this.
Have to say I am a fan of hard edged techy type backgrounds.

Some of the backgrounds do tend to overwhelm the screen.
I may just start going minimalist so I can enjoy the homescreen backgrounds and maybe even freak peeple out if they ask where I got that launcher.

I like the numbers graphic but I didn't keep it there. It was a little too busy. But someone else might know how to arrange their icons around it so it will work. I'm not that talented. lol. Open sea eh? hmmm.

This one I used a lot in the beginning. Looks really nice. Even nicer in my phone :excited: because I have unlocked Ativ, so I have RGB-slider for accents and with full electric blue it worked well :evil:
