BATTERY SENSE not working for me (Lumia 625)

I have Windows Phone 8.1 and the Battery Sense isn't working for me, when I try to touch the icon it doesn't work, it's like a non-existent tile or whatver, AND I'm just on my first day after the update on my Lumia 625 and the battery life sucks!!
Befiore my phone used to spend hours withing the 90-100% range, now it's on 83% already after a mere hour of regular / similar usage...

Does anyone have this issue?

That is weird. Never heard of this problem before. Do a soft reset and if still you have this problem a hard reset would definitely work.

For battery problem, it should be solved after some 3 -4 charge cycles. Let the battery drain completely and then charge till 100 at one go.

try doing a hard reset by holding volume down + lock button at the same time until your phone vibrates and reboot itself (ignore the black screen to power down the phone ).

It would del all your files/data on your phone (backup all your important data before doing a hard reset ) . This would set your phone to factory default settings(windows phone 8.1 )

This is how it looks for me and I can't press it!!! It's just there like a gray icon that goes nowhere!!

Yes, and it doesn't go thru either... it's there BUT It doesn't do anytghing, it's like a dead icon or dead option there!!

Go to phone settings /phone updates. Try updating your phone. They have fixed most the bugs with battery life improvements.
