[Question] want to know one thing about cyan in dp L520 with nokia recovery suit

Hi! I from Taiwan(((My English isn't very well.
I'm just curious about one thing because I just saw someone left a comment on a post.
"nokia program for recovery before you recover your phone to win8 it said that you have an update so you do the lumia cyan update with the program and finish so simple ! I did it yesterday!

So my problem is>I just open the recovery suit. It says I will download 3058.50000.1425.0001(As the same as cyan) to my lumia 520 (in wp8.1 GDR1 black)
So it will replace my phone's stuff or just update?:unhappy:

No it will flash it, meaning that everything on the phone with the OS will be deleted then the OS is installed again. Just like formatting a PC

one more thing
If I pull my SD card off my phone(installed some apps on it)
Will I can't use it?(I mean NO reinstall)

No you won't be able to use those apps, just turn on the backup so they will be installed on your phone after flashing
