What version OS after factory reset and new user log in?

So I'm about to sell my Lumia 1520 which is running developer 8.1 update 1. So I'm wondering when I factory reset the phone and someone else logs in using their own windows account what version of the OS will they be running, will it just be vanilla 8.1?

8.1 update 1.
The only way they'll get vanilla if you downgrade using Nokia software updater.

Okay that makes sense. Am I right in thinking I would need to downgrade to get the Cyan update also?

I downgraded and yes I got cyan but couldn't bare losing folders so I updated again and now I'm afraid denim will make me down grade again to get it
