WP8.1 has a large live tile ?

WP 8.1 Has a 2k(2560x1440) resolution , so i suspect it has large live tile

That seems like it will be possible considering that windows 8.1 has the same function.

I would love it!
Sometimes there can be too much black space between the tiles, and also some tiles have the need to show more info. And the large bing weather tile you see here, would look awesome.
Windows 8.1 has it, so small - medium - wide - large, so I don't see why they wouldn't do the same with WP8.1. At least now, after the update, when you make an app for WP8.1 it can work with W8.1. I guess that includes tiles too

I honestly think it's going to relate to the 5"+ displays that enable a third row of icons. Makes sense since the wide tile doesn't stretch across the whole screen.

I'd really want the ability to make the tiles a bit smaller. Windows 8 allows for user to enable "more tiles" option which allows for smaller tiles and I like it better. I hope they allow it on all WP devices. Not just the 1520...
