You need Hyper V to get the emulator up and running, so nope, not on 32-bit Windows. I believe you need Windows 8 installed as well.

I strongly recommend you DO NOT install this version as you could get yourselves and the developers into trouble.

Microsoft could pull the plug on the entire preview because of this.

I was invited for the preview and its best to just wait a little for the official update as its not long from now.

Do you have to have the 8.0 SDK installed to run this? I'm asking for a friend, obviously, but a friend of mine downloaded it, but couldn't find it installed anywhere and now he is confused. Thanks.

Yes, please, can someone who has this installed explain how you did it? I already had the 8.0 SDK installed, but nothing I'm doing works.

I installed VS2013 Express, then installed the leaked update.

Then, I open VS, open an app sln file (I'm using a demo from the leaked docs), and press the 'play' button on the toolbar that sends it to the emulator.

I can't figure out how to get this installed. I keep getting an error: "The form specified for the subject is not one supported or known by the specified trust provider."

Any guesstimate as to when? I'm really eager to get started working on 8.1...
