Verizon has been pretty good with release day updates especially with the 928.

/s? At any rate, none of the carriers do day one updates. But at least with Nokia, the carriers have been sticking within a 2 month rollout or so.

Any in any case, developer unlock your phone and get the update on day 1. Best solution

One question - that developer preview wil be something like BETA ? Or it will be same version as will be released for end-users some months later ?

The keynote starts everyday (starting April 2nd) @ 16:30 London time (that's GMT).
