Hey guys, not sure if this is the right forum.

I really have spent literally an hour looking for this - if it's somewhere else, I would appreciate a link!

I have a Lumia 1020, but I have a lot of music. I have made it fit. Problem is... I'm using OS X, and I can't seem to get my phone to synchronize music both ways. It will ADD music no problem, with the occasional crash. I can live with that. But when I delete music from my iTunes library, it shows up deleted on the music sync page, but when I sync, it doesn't actually delete that deleted music from my phone. As such, I have 20GB of music in iTunes, but 24.3 on my phone.

It is very possible this is a PEBKAC error, as I think I may have tried syncing through a different program using parallels (zune software, default microsoft etc.) Obviously the solution then would be to just wipe the phone and start again (not ideal, but not a problem either).

In any case, if "Windows Phone" for OS X does delete songs from your phone once they're no longer in your list, I'll just wipe it and start again. If it does not do this, are there any apps that do? I delete songs fairly frequently (I use my phone to test out new albums) and I don't want to have to wipe my entire music collection (or phone) just to get rid of one album.

    Thanks!

Are you using the Windows Phone Connector App for Mac? Some songs might not transfer over through iTunes because of the copyright restrictions on iTunes songs purchased before 2010 (?), or as I found out, if they are in some other format like AIFF or FLAC. As far as I'm concerned files DO NOT delete on the phone if they are no longer on the list in the default sync app. If you ever want to delete just one artist or album, go into Finder into the phone, under Music and you can delete specific folders and songs directly through Finder or whatever file manager you use.

There's the option to just long press the song in the Music Hub and you'll get an option to delete.
