I just turned on the preview for developers and checked for updates and it said 'An update is ready to download' for my 920. Any idea if this is actually the 8.1 preview?

edit: n/m it seems like a small update so i doubt it is 8.1

It's the 8.0.10521.155 update. It's a small update that brings some fix to battery drain. .
It is not Wp 8.1.
And this update comes only to Preview developers.

That's true: Cortana (yes!) and Many, Many Other Great Features coming in Windows Phone 8.1
I was a bit surprised about the lock-screen themes though.... that's literally nudging apps like Awesome Lock and Lockmix to have better integration into the OS!! Also it's good that they are allowing third-party apps integration into the hubs; it's a smart idea
