read mail on WP8.1 still unread in outlook.com

Hi, I have an issue with the mail app. Everytime I receive on mail on my phone, I read it as usual but in outlook.com the mail is still unread.
The same thing happen when I delete a mail on my phone and it is still present on the website.

Is this an issue with the mail app or a bad config ?

Read and delete do not automatically sync back to the server (regardless of sync settings). They do it on a timer or when you receive a new email or when you manually press "sync." Next time you read an email on your phone, manually sync and check on outlook.com. It should be up to date then.

Yes if I do a manual sync it works.. Is there a way to configure it somewhere to do auto sync when I leave the app ?

That is the way it worked on WP8 as well. This is not a WP8.1 issue

I noticed this in wp8 and wp8.1 is doing the same - is it a bug, I don't know but its being consistent between the older version and 8.1

I guess it is a bug because even if my phone is set up with my microsoft account, if I add another "outlook" account on my phone it sync perfectly in the new mail app. But when I revert back to the default mail app I still have the issue
