For IE it also crash on Lumia 1020. Especially when you enter Facebook or a page with loads of pages on it.

WP in general has been becoming more and more unstable with every major update since I bought my 925 in August 2013. It was a rock solid OS when I bought it. Sure I've done numerous hard resets since I have bought the phone, but it doesn't help at all.

Or your particular phone is deteriorating. The 925 I carried for a long time and my wife has used since has never needed a hard reset thru all the updates.

Just throwing out another data-point. Neither mine or your experience alone are any predictor of what is likely for any other 925.

I'm having the issue where I cannot be heard on the phone, during a normal call. If I use a headset or speaker phone I'm am heard perfectly clear. If just wanting the put the phone to my ear, people on the other end cannot hear me. I just bought this phone, so the noise cancelling mic is clean, but nonetheless I opened up the holes just a tad. No help. I have ordered and replaced the headphone-jack/noise-cancelling-mic, and still no resolution. Soft reset, and yet still no resolution.

Preforming a full hard reset now. If this thing does not work, it just might become a fancy red decoration for the bottom of the nearest lake..... Here's hoping that does not happen.

Not really seeing the difference between a hard and soft reset to this point.... Midway through the hard reset, and it looks just like the soft reset. I hope this isn't an evil joke

Anyone having problems with Twitter accounts integration in the People Hub?

I don't know when it started, but I just checked my contacts the other day and none of my friends' Twitter accounts show up. I re-linked my Twitter account in the Email+Accounts settings menu. I made sure that it syncs without any errors. I made sure that I have Twitter accounts enabled to show up in my contacts. The only one that I don't allow to show up is ones from Nokia Account.

Anyone else?

Edit: I figured it out. I re-installed the app but didn't need to do that. It must have just been recently added but in the Twitter app settings, there's a "People Hub" part now

Hi,
I'm having an issue with Skype video calling, when the screen times out (after 30 sec.) the video goes off too. Screen timeout doesn't end the call but video goes off and have to swipe the screen to get it back on. The screen time out shouldn't turn off the video..has anyone experienced it? And is there any solution to it?
I'm using microsoft lumia 535 with latest update of Skype.

Games shortcut in WP 8.1 won't open. It just crashes and goes back to the main phone window . Anyone else notice this? Very frustrated. Reboot and soft reset don't work

I do not know if this has been dealt with but I hate the "pop" sound that occurs when skipping in a video! I have wp8.1

After the denim update I couldn't use my 3G mobile data for a long time .If I do so I will not receive any calls ,msgs,IM notifications and my mobile will not be reachable until I restart my phone. If some one knows a solution to avoid this problem it will be very helpful .Thanks in advance

My Lumia 640 Dual Sim is taking only 1439 x 1919 (3:4) and 1081 x 1919 (9:16) picture formats.
That is way below stated 8Mpx.
Does anyone know what is happening?

I got this problem on my Nokia Lumia 525. A week ago I tried to reinstall candy crush...i lost the wifi connection in-between the downloading process. Later when I got the wifi connection the downloading didn't resume...just showed"pending"...later I tried to update my other apps like"vlc" they too show "pending" status. So I tried this, cancelled the downloading of candy crush. But no app got updated. Now I cant even download new apps as they join the "pending" club....god help me.

Since a few days, my phone has been acting up. I have a Lumia 820 with 8.1 Denim, no insider, no preview installed, standard factory version.

It all started (at least that was when I noticed) with a VLC update.
The phone had a stable wifi connection and I tried to update the app, but it stayed in the queue. There were times the app started updating, but couldn't finish it, stopped at ~50% and didn't continue.

Ever since then I couldn't get VLC to update itself.

Furthermore, it seems, I even have problems with installing new apps (it's set to install apps on the SD card). They behave the same way VLC does - remain in the queue without making any progress.
The final twist is that despite all this, I do get some apps to update themselves in the background. Last time Atmosphere managed to pull it off.

I have no clue what this issue is and what might cause it nor do I know how to fix it.
Any suggestions?

So far the only issue I have had is the volume of the earpiece I can hardly hear people on my phone. I is fine when I use my bluetooth headset but when using the phone is is really bad. I have had the phone since it came out and just waiting for the next flagship phone to come out with windows 10 I hope.

Can anyone tell me why sometimes I have 60-70% when i go to bed, and it does not survive till the morning, but sometimes it survives even with 20-30%? This is very strange, and I cannot rely on the alarm on my phone. I have to always charge it during the night.

Bought a Lumia 640, one for me, one for my wife. We've had problems with the Windows Store where on my phone I could not download FIFA 15 and hers Candy Crush Saga. Now she first had the issue and noticed the game download would stick at pending or partially download(upto 48MB). Cancelling and restarting, region change and syncing the account again all failed. We gave up. Until I had the issue with FIFA on my phone. I used Google Play/Android Phone before. On that platform you can install an app via your laptop and it will auto download to your device. Through playing around for an hour on the laptop I figured it out.
On my 8.1 laptop, I used Google products and my sign-in was Gmail. This then made the Windows sign-in use that email address. On my phone I used a hotmail account. What the phone seemed to know is that my Wife and I had already owned the game via Google/Nexus and didn't want to let us download again. Changing my laptop, windows store email to hotmail(to match the phone) worked - gave it a restart and sync too just to be on the safe side. But hey presto, I seem to have fixed an issue that may affect a lot more users!

Left phone during workout, found it without internet access at 10.20am. Restarted the phone to fix this, and immediately the 7.30am alarm rings. WTH? How does the alarms app get stuck? Kind of unnerving. Has anyone else seen this?

Maybe try a third party alarm app? I'm interested to know if the problem persists... I get up very early for work.

Just to clarify, I only recall this happening once in over a year of owning a 1520. Still terrible, but not a common issue on my phone at least.

Just noticed an app wrongly categorised in the Australian windows phone store. Opened the app and scrolled down to see the specialised categories of apps that often vary. Today there was a category for rugby fans. In that category they included AFL live. Now AFL stands for Australian Football League and they play Australian rules football which has nothing to do with rugby. Its a sport unique to Australia like the American NFL is unique to America.

The AFL Live app should not be categorised as an app for rugby fans as they aren't playing rugby. Hopefully this issue can be fixed.
