Windows Phone 8.1 OS capacity storage in the phone

Hello everyone,

I have updated my Nokia lumia 1320 to Cyan with Windows Phone 8.1 and also I download the GDR 1 for the developer preview, my concern is that I dont know if the space take by the OS is accurate or not, I think the space taken is huge, please confirm, I am attaching an image

4.83 GB for the OS is huge :unhappysweat:

That space is NOT just for the OS

How many apps have you got installed?

The System storage space also includes workspace for apps that are installed separately to the OS. It also includes workspace for the OS.
On my 1520, my system is 2.6 GB. Mainly because I don't have a lot of apps installed.
