Video player app that remembers progress, allows faster playback speeds

Hi all,

I am looking for a video player app that will play a video, downloaded to my phone or streaming from YouTube/Channel9/Vimeo, etc., and that has the option to play the video at different speed than normal, e.g. 1.5 or 2.0. It should also track progress, and allow me to resume from where I left of.

The reason why I am looking for these options is that I often look at lectures or presentations online, and both features really improve the experience.

Update: Forgot to mention that I have a Lumia 930 / WP 8.1 update 1

I think VLC will be perfect for you but you have to wait a bit before they decide to launch it :/
