OTHER folder = 0 bytes

OK, poking around this morning, I was able to get my OTHER folder to 0 bytes .

What I've done (with success):

• Open Storage Sense
  
• go to PHONE >> temporary files
• click DELETE (in Temporary files)
• click DELETE (in Temporary files), AGAIN (second time)
• after approx 20 seconds, you should see OTHER shrink
• then, I went to SETTINGS >> APPLICATIONS >> MAPS
• click DELETE HISTORY
• checked Storage Sense & OTHER was 0 bytes

This is on my Lumia 1520 (Lumia Cyan w Dev Preview update 1) with maps stored to SDcard (that was accomplished by Lumia Storage Check beta or the latest version).

This is on Phone memory, my SDcard still has 24.5 MB in OTHER (which is trifling). OTHER folder may still contain various other filetypes, but this is another step toward cleaning it up (& reclaiming valuable phone storage)

It appears that IE cache, Bing search cache (may ?) contribute to SYSTEM, thus the dynamic (growing) nature of SYSTEM

Thanks mate very useful tip , it works ir dropped 1.7gb from others to 145mb
