With today's Glance update, I decided to give it a try, as I really like the idea of having my local weather and upcoming appointment(s) visible quick and easy. My one complaint is that of all the apps I have tried that provide content on the lockscreen (which may be limited in the grand scheme of things), none of them have allowed you to have that content show over a photo. It is either photo from your album, or let an app take over. As a developer myself, I have my theories on why that might be (limitation in WP8.1, cost-cutting by app devs, etc.). My question to, I guess the community, is this: are others bothered by this, or am I just being picky? I admit the photos the weather apps supply are quite nice, but call me a softie, I'd rather see my kids.

This is a double post. Please try to only ask a question once.

My apologies. I was looking for how to delete the first one, as I mistakenly placed it under Q&A.
