I'm I the only one around here that has faced a lot of bugs with his Lumia phone its starting to get on my nerves let me start by telling you about the issues im facing with IE 11 this so called great browser keeps on crashing on almost every site I try to open. I try to open one site and it loads for a while and then it will crash and close. Another bug in IE 11 is the low quality on images and all the images that show up are in low quality although my data saving is turned off and still low quality images. Let me now tell you about the facebook app that stopped even showing my newsfeed and I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app still nothing. I'm sorry guys I know that you have a lot of these posts about how the windows phone os is lacking stuff and that it is far behind but it is the truth that although Microsoft is trying its best but its still lagging behind and I don't see Microsoft going anywhere if they are gonna stay like this with the big app that are coming late to the windows store that are also not as good as they are in ios or android it feels like they are just pushing the apps out to windows store just to say that they are in their store for example it has been decades till flipboard was released to windows store and when it came out it doesn't even flip and its ui is **** and this issue is not only for the flipboard app its on all the apps we have in windows store apps that look just awesome and great and give u a great experience on android and ios would be **** for windows phone and would lack features. I am sorry guys for this post but I had to put it out there I am just really disappointed in my windows phone experience that I thought would be great and I have tried to look away from these issues but it just doesn't feel like we are going to go anywhere with Microsoft's lack of apps and the updates they are pushing that just turn your experience from bad to worse. Again in really really sorry for this post I bet you guys have a lot of people posting such threads and it just shouldn't be thus way I guess my next phone will be ios for it is the only os I kept for last.

Where to begin?

Flipboard is produced by Flipboard, not Microsoft. If you have any complaints address it to the app developers. It's not a Microsoft problem.

Facebook is produced by Microsoft because Facebook themselves didn't want to do a Facebook app for the Windows phone. In this case blame Facebook for not providing an official supported app.

IE11. I have absolutely no problems with images on my phone. Maybe your looking at the wrong porn sites? Lo res fluffy kittens? Give us all a link so we can compare what you see?

Sorry, I can't really read walls of text without getting everything jumbled out of perspective.

Anyway, there's a reason behind the Preview for Developers program being as accessible as it is. It's called feedback. Send feedback directly to Microsoft on this one. Tell them to keep throwing cash at their third-party app problems or such.

By the way, to all in this thread, please do not let the situation spiral out of control. The mods are already working hard enough as it is...

Thats exactly the point....if everyone leaves a developing OS when how will it progress....i got my 625 for Rs 14000, i could have easily got a android with much better specs... so why didnt i do it?. Am i mad?. No..!! .
from the begining i supported microsoft and wanted its development....its slowly developing....and thats not all......Windows Phone users are...satisfied with the functionality and simplicity of Windows Phones , they are lag free and efficient in handling tasks. only problem is the app gap and quality...and once microsoft fixes these we will see a large no. of users shifting from iOs and Android. i wont be forcing you, everyone has their own discretion reasons for choosing whatever platform he/she likes, all the best to you for new iPhone OS

Which of the sites you visit have the image quality problem? Generally, it's an issue of developers not optimizing their sites enough for IE.

I'm gonna upload screenshots of the quality later on and these images are taken from google images and that is not the only issue even when I try to load wpcentral website it just crashes and closes all IE. I'm sorry but I don't see the os moving forward app wise I never had a browser crash on me as much as it did in this phone

Microsoft has confirmed a 36 month support cycle for all WP8 devices, though.

Which means that the 8/920 will be eligible for all updates until November 2015, the 620 will be eligible for updates until February 2016, and so on.

Well, they may choose to extend it further.

So you could ahead and keep on supporting and keep on using apps and games that are outdated and not upgraded with a sucky ui and features that are important that are not found on the version of windows phone. and search for apps and you realise that it is not available in windows phone so u use sucky apps for alternatives a youtube app is not even available on windows phone till now its 2014 people . GUYS WAKE UP you are supporting something that is not gonna go anywhere its a lame excuse for a phone im sorry but they are going nowhere. I dont understand what makes u feel its FINAL image resolution. if u click on page it shows "Full-sized Image" and u can use that to get Full Res photo. I dont own any other OS to try whether its IE on WP responding this way.

Sorry you're having such issues.. But I'm not experiencing that at all on my Samsung ATIV S. Pictures are high quality in IE11.

First of all, Thanks Laura for guiding.

About the Pics, the Mobile version will not load the FULL RES photo, u will have to go to the Full-Res page. In my phone that page brings me the Full Quality[available]. The desktop version however shows the loading gif and somehow messes the whole experience.
