    Your Name: XXXX
Comments:Really like your Audible and Kindle apps for Windows Phone. I see your company has multiple apps for Android and Apple. I have been involved with the Windows Phone (Windows Mobile) community since it's earliest history. Windows for Mobile is a very active community of tech enthusiasts dying to have major companies such as yourselves contribute technology to this growing ecosystem. Though small in number, Windows Phone users tend to spend more money per capita for apps and in app purchases than any other platform. Since user base is smaller, these numbers hardly show up in stats.
Please do yourself and Windows Phone users a favor by expanding on your already excellent Audible and Kindle offerings. I really want to stream Amazon Music and Video to my Lumia 1520, as would others love to stream to their much loved Tablets and other Windows devices. Thanks for supporting Xbox of course.
A copy of this communication will be showing up in Blogs and forums I subscribe to.
    Regards
    XXXX

I am also beginning to pound Cisco for lack of Mobile VPN client for phone and Windows Embedded/RT.

Any of you folk have similar concerns (am sure) talk to the producers.

A few weeks ago I spent a little time fooling around with trying to connect to a Cisco ASA using the built in IKEV2 client . I think you need 8.4 or higher running on the ASA to support V2. I got it to get past phase 1 but then ran into some problems with phase 2 authentication, I think it needs a cert or something. Then I got busy and haven't got back to it since.

My guess is Cisco isn't too interested in working with WP for some reason, otherwise they would have had a client some time ago. Even my ancient iPhone 3Gs had a Cisco VPN client right out of the box, so maybe they have a deal with Apple or something.

I work as a CE for a company ,which is a Platinum Partner. Cisco's preference is for open source i.e.: Firefox over Internet Explorer. On the website for CEs' there are links to Android and IOS clients. Windows for Mobile is conspicuously absent.
This is not the first time I have contacted Cisco directly. Still awaiting response from an earlier request on mobile VPN chat/forum. I did get a response that the issue would be forwarded to marketing team,
If you are paying for a service and not getting the support you desire, contact the company directly. Push and escalate as often as possible.

I contacted Cisco a few months back. They said they have not released an IPSEC client for WP, due to the small user base. However, they were working on testing for WP. Whatever that double speak means.

    Reply from Cisco:

Thank you for contacting Cisco Virtual Engineering - Partner Help program.

Based on your inquiry this is the information provided on the latest release notes.

"AnyConnect 3.0+ does not support Microsoft Windows Mobile or Windows Phone. However, you can continue to use the ASA to deploy the AnyConnect 2.5 or earlier client for Windows Mobile even after loading the AnyConnect 3.1 package files to the ASA for web deployment.

    Please reference this link:

    Suggested reply to Cisco:

Thanks for telling me you don't support Windows Phone in response to me telling you that.

However, you can continue to stick ****** up ***********

While it's not required, in this day and age large companies should support all the major platforms. It just makes them appear to be more competent, relevant and trustworthy when they support new platforms and upgraded operating systems.

I remember how painful it was getting a working 64 bit VPN client back some years ago. Made me not want to deal with Cisco ever again.
