Why some of my images stored on SD card (Kingston Class 10) are not visible in Phone gallery ?

I have Nokia Lumia 730 and have stored all my images on SD card in different folders. But images from some folder are visible in Gallery. I have tried to recopy them through PC, changed the names of those folders, but the problem remains same.

All photos have to be in the Pictures folder to be seen by your phone in the Photo Hub.

Your phone has to be set up in Storage Sense to see them on the SD card.

But not all the images are invisible, some are visible even though they are not in 'Pictures' folder. And what about WhatsApp folder ? You can't move it to 'Pictures' folder.

Does the memory card is having write protection ? I do had these sort of problems and rectified if with a full format of memory card..
