I have my Yahoo Mail account synced through my phone. When I'm not near my PC, I respond to my emails through my phone.
Until today, I've never had any issues. Gmail bounced my response!

Obviously, I'm not the network administrator for Yahoo and contacting Yahoo support is futile, as they outsource..

My settings are as follows:
Incoming email server:
winmo.imap.mail.yahoo.com:993:1

Outgoing (SMTP) email server:
winmo.smtp.mail.yahoo.com:465:1

Are there any solutions to this?

So, the email I in turn replied to (again) via Yahoo Mail over Firefox (on my PC) ALSO bounced...

Screw you, Gmail.

Save yourself the headache and use outlook.com :p this way you will get native push support and not have to rely on timed sync.

Edit: wait, are you replying to someone who is using Gmail?

It's probably more to do with Yahoo than Gmail. Sometimes email servers get added to spam block lists and other block lists because of high levels of bogus email. I had a similar issue with my Network Solutions email the other day, but it cleared up pretty quickly. I'm guessing it probably works for you now.

When Gmail filters because of spam, the bounce message typically states so. However, this bounce message states 'unauthentication' which is impossible, as im logged in via webmail and its only Gmail I've ever experienced this with.. Which leads me to believe it's a Gmail issue.
