Why isn't my wifi on my 1520 connecting after Denim update?

WiFi on 1520 will not connect after Denim update

as per title, I cannot connect to my home network since Denim update, the phone see's a full wifi signal, but comes back as 'cannot connect to network xyz'.
I've switched both router and phone on/off, tried deleting network details and reentering the password, to no avail.
Any ideas?

If you can Isolate the issue to see if it is the phone or the wifi router it would be a good starting point.
Is the Wifi connected to other devices and working?
Can the phone connect to any Wifi networks at all?
Is the toggle set on off in the action center?
Soft reset phone solves issue in either cases?
If not a hard reset? Last resort NSRT to re install Denim?

The last one as a last resort should work if there was a error/glitch during update!

My laptops can connect no problem.
I've got three wifi signals at home, main router and secondary fon router, phone won't connect to any, tomorrow will be at work, I'm sure last week I would have connected to that after denim update, but not 100% sure.

A hard reset seems to have solved the problem, the phone has behaved perfectly for a year now, I hope this was a one off and that Denim will not cause other problems.
