start+theme crashes when changing background image

Whenever I press 'choose photo' under 'start+theme' it crashes and goes back to the main settings list. This means I can't change my Start screen background (I can still change the accent colour).

Anyone else had this issue? I never used to have this problem, it's so frustrating as I can't change the image. Windows support told me to hard reset the device (not really the solution I'm after).

I'm using a Lumia 930.

Are you running windows 10 tech preview on your phone?? If so, wait for next build to fix it.

I had the same thought, this is happening also on tech preview to my 830

This was on 8.1. I also discovered anything requiring access to my photo albums was crashing. So any third party camera app didn't save photos and videos recorded wouldn't save.

Odd bugs and in the end I had to hard reset my phone which is always a bit of a faff. But it's working now!
