Windows Central Question
memory wipe computer
Hi, so I was trying to update my computer to windows 8.1 when my computer froze I turned it off and turned it back on. I got a blue screen with some options. I took it to my local Staples, they said it would need a new hard drive and I would have to get recovery media. I called Dell since I had a warranty. They did some test and said it was a software problem and they fixed it...so I thought. After that it started running so slow and would switch to a blue screen to home screen. So I took it to a computer repair shop in my town they figured out it was a software corruption and they have to wipe the memory and put windows software on it again. Did anyone else have this problem?
