How to easily (in bulk) upload pics after turning on Onedrive auto back up

I've had auto back up to Onedrive off. Just turned it on. It does not appear to automatically back up pics I've taken with back up turned off. So how do I go about easily backing up pics manually?

if you want the easy way then connect the phone to your PC and copy the photos to the OneDrive section and let it upload them automatically.
