How do you add applications to "Notifications+actions"!?

Hi!
I hope I am in the right part of the forum now but anyways,
I am using the app Kik Messenger and yesterday it stopped sending notifications when I get new messages.
I checked on my brothers phone and Kik exists in notifications+actions but not in my case.
Is there anyway to add applications to notifications+actions so I can continue receiving notifications when I get new messages?

Have you tried restarting your phone.
My or may not work:-

make your app to get any notifications with help of your friends client.then notifications would automatically show the app.I did the same way to get Skype in notification centre .

Or else try reinstalling it.

I have tried restalling it, restarting my phone but neither of them worked. Other tips?
