My first WP died, so a quick survey...

I got a Lumia 520 just over a year ago and loved it, was my first actual smartphone and enjoyed it a lot. Had a few problems that I got over (screen got all greasy really quick, battery was eh) but overall it was a great phone.

Near the last 4 months though, it started to get really unstable and slow. Yesterday I dropped it and cracked the screen (touch doesn't work anymore) so obviously it isn't functional anymore.

About the unstable part, for you higher end WP owners out there... Have you ever had issues? Obviously L520 is a low spec and fairly old phone so I didn't expect much, but not sure if I should stick with the whole Windows Phone market or not.

Specifically I need a phone for business that's stable

Its worth noting that the 520 generally doesn't age like that. My sister's 521 (a flavor of the 520) still performs reasonably well.

So I guess you've had bad luck, but its worth noting that I upgraded my sister to a 925, which performs much better. I think a newer device like the 635, 920 will work quite well as long as it isn't defective.

Best phone for business in my opinion.. 1520 or it's "little brother" 930.. If you're looking to go cheaper then try the 640/640xl

I was pretty rough with my 520, dropped it a lot and even got it in water once. So that would contribute a lot to it's death lol. However thanks!
