How can I fix the blank screen on my Lumia?

Blank screen in lumia

I have a Nokia Lumia 520.Recently I got on a plane and turned my phone off. When I turned it back on the Nokia logo popped up and then the screen turned black. I can't see anything on my phone. Not even the home screen, everything is black. I do not know what to do. I tried a hard reset using the buttons on the side, but that didn't help. I tried charging it but nothing happened, just the Nokia screen and then a black screen with nothing on it. This has gotten me really mad and I don't know what to do.

So you can't see the app list either? did you restore a backup after resetting?
