So, when you have a contact linked with their Skype account and you are on a call with them, you have the video button available. When you click the video button it asks if you want to look for an app in the store, at which point it takes you to the link for Skype. What is the point of the video button if it doesnt open apps like Skype? I dont get it.

This is still a work in progress by Microsoft. Things have changed with Windows 10 mobile, and are still changing with each insider preview build. One of these days (hopefully sooner than later) we'll have a seamless video calling service much like Apple's FaceTime, but for now, they've only just laid out part of the framework for this to work.

The good news is video calling is possible on WIndows Phone 8.1, but only from within the Skype app itself.

Appreciate the reply. Thanks.
