Changing Phone Name Restores To Factory Default After Reboot.
Hi,
I recently had to do a hard reset of my phone (Samsung ATIV S). After everything was up and running again, I went and changed the phone name from the default "Samsung ATIV S" to my name using the Windows Phone App and everything looked fine.
When I restarted the phone, it changed back to "Samsung ATIV S". I then tried to change it using Windows Explorer (Right clicking on the device, and rename). Same thing happens! It accepts the name change, but as soon as I restart the phone, it changes it back to the factory setting.
I've gone through community forums - no luck. Windows Phone Twitter support was also a dead end.
Anyone else have this issue? Any idea how to fix this?? I really don't want to have to do a hard reset again - the last one took EIGHT HOURS!!! Yikes!!
