Photo sorting swicthed to a new phone

HI,

Iv'e moved to Lumia 640xl from Samsung's Ativ s
copied my camera roll which was stored on 32gb sd to a 64gb sd
which resulted unsorted photos from the current month and older photos

switched to my older 32gb sd, and photos are sorted by dates
iv'e searched older posts, people said to wait a few days and pictures got sorted on their own.
tried it, did not work.

anyone had this issue ? or have a tip how can i move my camera roll and keep the photos sorted by dates ?
another issue is my 32gb sd, on my lumia does not display the whatsapp pictures folder although it exist.

I believe there is a "database" file located in the phone storage. It is a file you cannot access. It indexes your photos.

When you copy from one card to another, it becomes photos the index does not recognize. If the photos were not created by "Windows" as it sees it, then it will never sort them correctly.

The only way I've been able to get this to work is to put my Photos on OneDrive, then re-download them to the new card. It's a real pain, so I didn't do it on my last phone change. I've just started keeping my photos sorted on my laptop, because it is easier.

I would LOVE a decent workaround if anyone knows it.

maybe in the WPSystem folder but i have no idea where it's located.
re-download my whole skydrive albums would be a real pain in the as*
so waiting for another idea...
