Howdy all,
Windows Media Player on my Windows 7 notebook doesn't recognize my HTC 8X (WP 8.1, 8.10.14203.306) as a device to sync music with. I know it's possible to sync music with Windows Phone App for Desktop, but it syncs whole albums which I don't want to do; I would like to be able to sync individual tracks from albums. I could do that with WP 8.0 by adding individual tracks to the sync list and then syncing them with the phone which WMP recognized back then. Now I can't do that, because WMP asks me to connect a device to sync even wen my phone is connected.
The phone is visible in Windows Explorer as a portable device, and also in Windows Phone App for Desktop, I can copy files to and from the phone, etc. The only thing I cannot do is sync music with WMP.
Best regards...
