We all know iPhone had the ability to limit permissions and even Android is making strides to give users more control. Stop what then, is Windows strategy? Do we only get control over background activity?

Windows Phone 8.1, we basically have control over location.

In Windows 10 Mobile, we get a lot more control, a la iOS.

Yes, there's a lot more control in Windows 10 Mobile. I think that the advertising APIs are also being addressed, as this is that caused some of the confusing app permissions in Windows Phone 8.1
