I've rebooted over 10x
I've hit the camera reset button numerous times
I've uninstalled most of my apps in case the failure was related to some update
I've tried launching the camera from button and app link
I've tried setting the default camera app to both microsoft and nokia, and repeating the above operation
Why I think it could be hardware, though maybe it is a driver thing?:
I've opened skype and don't have the options for video, making me think the camera isn't being detected at all.
