Yesterday, I tried changing date/time to 2100 and tried uninstalling Nokia Account from Settings App on wp8.1 Update 1. The app uninstalled completely w/o increasing the other storage. While uninstalling an app normally(Long press the app > Uninstall) often left a lot of remnants than complete uninstall (By changing the date/time) mentioned in this post Here I hope this helps people who are facing low storage issue after an app uninstall (even with 8Gigs EEPROM). I still didn't find a solution of cleaning the remnants after failed installation of an app. I tried moving the app to sd card and tried deleting some of them but my efforts went in vain. Because of heavy sandboxing by Wp8.1, even a small change in GUID will render the app useless and only option is to uninstall and download it again.
