Please help! IE crashes 5+ times per day!

I like Windows Phone but the situation lately has been desperating.

Internet Explorer crashes very frequently on my Lumia 635. When this happens, whichever site I'm browsing becomes grayed out, I get a "Resuming..." text in the center of the screen, and a about 10 seconds later I am back at the home screen and IE is no longer running.

This definitely did not happen when I first started using the phone.

Some websites seem more prone to this than others. Ironically, Windows Central is one of the websites that causes more crashes.

I am desperate. I like Windows Phone and was even considering upgrading, but not if it means this will be my experience.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I can't tell you if you have some decent hardware like a Lumia 640 or great hardware like a Lumia 950 you won't experience this issue

I never saw it before. Try a soft reset and if that doesn't work try a hard reset. It should fix it

IE crashes all the time on my 640, although I don't get the resuming thing. It doesn't seem to matter which website I'm on, it will crash at some point. No idea what the problem is.
