what to expect on windows phone 8.2?

My question is, why don't they mark 8.x their updates. WP 8 gdr1,2,3 should have been WP 8.1, 8.2, 8.3 .. And I would rather ask what will bring WP 9 and/or WP8.x will still have support, not like WP7

each YY update are like major updates, it has large update, adding lots of feature
each ZZZZ update are like minor updates, adding few feature (GDR updates mostly)
each AAAAAAAA update are like small/bug updates, fixing bugs and changing things (mostly)

Yeah but for a hardware maker, it is easier to advertise a new phone with "8.2" rather than "8.1 with update 1".

why they wont use 8.1 for GDR 1? 8.2 for GDR 2?
because if you do it, it might confuse customers about information, normally, X.X + 0.1 means a BIG update, usually a BIG files is required to download updates, while small updates like GDR, will able to download with data (if not limited), for advertising, they usually say "introducing, the new windows phone 8.1" without updates, cause normally they advertising the first updates, not small updates, if using 8.1 for GDR 1, they will have nothing to advertising at all

more powerfull statusbar . add Scrollable tyles , date & time & display brightness meter etc .

Orientation mode in start screen.

Better multitaskig like android.

plz give an option to see cpu usage , ram usage & disk usage .

More faster , smoother , unrestricted & secure os

want to see big raise of windows phones marketshare through wp8.2
