Wish there was a way to remove that red Verizon splash.
It's already possible to change the blue wp boot logo.

Whoo hoo!! Welcome welcome 😊

This weekend, I unlocked my phone, de-branded it, and updated it first to Denim and then Update 2, aka GDR2.

I am SO glad I did it!

EDIT: I recommend it to anyone comfortable flashing the ROM and doing registry edits. I can't believe how much faster the phone responds to everything. It's noticeably faster (insert "seems faster" reference here) for loading apps, restarting, resuming, everything I've tried so far. Coming back up from a soft reset is way faster than before. This update needs to be available to everyone, in my opinion. It appears to me that my battery life has also improved by a very noticeable margin. Happy days.
How'd you update it? AT&T doesn't have it yet?

Edit- Didn't, now they do

I'm back! Sorry I left, people. Tried W10TPM for a couple of days, decided I had better stick to GDR2 for my daily driver. :) At least until a public release build is made available.

Note: I'm having serious issues with mobile data dropping completely out in a matter of minutes after re/start. This showed up right after the update. Windows Phone Recovery didn't solve this though :-/

I got update 2, but glad I went back to 1.

Got mine using the Insider app trick. Not come through as an automatic update. GDR 2 seemed to hammer my battery, and I had times where it struggled with mobile internet. When I first installed it the phone became really snappy, even scrolling improved. But, it did slow down after a week or so.

Glad to be back on 8.1 GDR 1.

Would love to update my Lumia 925 to WP8.1 update 2, but 1) I've only got Cyan, not Denim, with no clear way to update to Denim, and 2) no uSD card. I've seen posts on how to get past the 'no uSD card', but I'm still blocked by Cyan.
