Could be that OR you can look at it like, "Hey nobody else is going to buy your old WP7 device once WP8 drops, so here...buy into one of our phones and we will take that off of your hands." I look at it differently than most I guess. I don't see alot of other OEMs doing such a thing. But it's also probably just to boost their own sales ever so slightly.

It's nice that they throwing people a bone. But I wouldn't sell my phone for that unless I knew it was buggy and about to die.

Wait, $175 for the Lumia isn't bad. I only paid $215 for it on Ebay.

Whats to say that you will be able to sell it once WP8 comes out though? I mean you probably could, but then again who knows.

My Flash will still be functional for next few years. So it will be going to my Mom or Girlfriend once I get my new device..

DM me, I'll give you $50. LOL!

50 is better than 35. But we could probably get more from a Pawn Shop than what HTC and Samsung offer..

Hmmm... they are offering me $40 for my DVP. I suppose that's not an unreasonable number but, for that price I'll just keep it as a spare/reserve phone (or just take out the SIM card and let the kids play games on it).

reason they dont offer more , is cause they gona fix them up and make a small profit on refurbish resale. witch they sale for about 100-200$

better then nothing , but your almost better off selling it online ( kijiji , e-bay , Cregs list )

PS, im getting 35 $ for my Original FOCUS ,

The buy back is not enough to influence a decision between htc and nokia if you are on the fence. At least for me it's not at $20 buy back.

HAHAHAHA $215 for a fully functional 4S 16gb? Not too bad considering most got it for $199 w/ contract but still. They go for $400+ online.
