My HTC 8X VZW Employee Edition. Steel theme with just the apps I use on a daily basis. I generally don't scroll down much so I just customized the initial screen. NFL Mobile and some other stuff is below but it's rather haphazard.

It's just called "HTC". It's how they got around not being able to plaster Sense all over the place I guess.

I used an app called groupy. I just made small tiles with one word on each.

I believe if you open the app and then long press the city you want to pin to the home screen it will. I am heading to work so can't test this yet but let me know if
that's it.
EDIT: Ok I figured it out. Swipe over to the "Apps" page or whatever its called and tap HTC. Then long press on the city name...this will give you the context menu that lets you Pin to Start. That will be the graphic version of the Live Tile, rather than just the text.

I had a **** of a time getting this post to work on my phone for some reason. Sorry if it was all jumbled before.

Hi, sorry late reply, not been on here for few days. App is Groupy, set to small tile. to get the long SS I took the individual SSs and stitched them together with Photoshop.

Wiztiles is another app for creating custom tiles.

Dude use TileHeader2 for things like "social", "media" etc. Its psycho easy and has different templates as well.

EDIT: Can't seem to embed skydrive photos..

I've had the iPhones, the Android phones.
WP8 BLOWS them away with the ability to pin live tiles.

Sure there are some minor rough edges, but as a whole MS got wp8 right.

I just want to confirm, this is your main screen so you scroll down way to the bottom when you want to access, lets say, Maps. Right? Is there a quick way to jump between screens? Or is it just learn the location of each app and that's how you can navigate quickly? I have maximum 2 screen lengths (usually less) on mine at any given time. I'm just wondering if there is something I don't know how to do. Otherwise it would take me forever to get around on a layout like that.

I like the color scheme btw.
