WP8 Phones Impressions

I just looked at the 920 and the 8X at a local AT&T store and here are some personal impressions.

The 8X looked and felt like a toy compared to the 920. Not a fan of the 8X styling or build at all.

I had dry hands, and to me, the matte black 920 felt slightly less grippy than the gloss white 920. I may alter my plans to get a Cyan 920.

I currently have an EVO 4G, and though the 920 is supposed to weigh more, the 920 actually felt like it weighed less, and that was even with all the security stuff they had on the 920.

Can't wait to get a 920.

I had a similar experience. Though I never had any intent of getting the 8X. I had planned on getting a matte 920 until I handled both of them for a while and realized the glossy was actually easier to keep a grip on and looked much better than I'd expected in person. I went with a glossy white one in the end. Never would have guessed that's what I'd do but I'm very happy with the decision thus far.
