All Microsoft?

I thought I read somewhere that somehow you can stream video from your WP8 to your Xbox, is that correct? If so, how? Other than that what are the benefits of going all Microsoft on everything instead of getting an Android phone.

The main benefit is the universal login with the Microsoft account (Live ID). Use the same one for xbox, phone, mail, etc and you get a unified experience. For instance, when you sign into a new Windows 8 computer, you'll get your skydrive, pictures, etc all linked up just like you do on your phone.
