oh nice, I try to update my whatsapp and now my phone is stuck with Nokia on the screen

I don't see any major changes...i don't really think they've fixed anything or brought the WP app on par with ios or android...

All ok, but my battery drains at about twice the speed as before now. I think I'm going to be getting rid of it until this is fixed. Such an annoyance.

It's not related to new version. It's apparently on ALL OS platforms. It's a whatsapp global issue. My friends from Australia and Mauritius can't connect either. DIfferent OS

Does anyone else have this problem: I can send a picture, but no screenshots!

Just noticed this today as well. It jumps back to the "select what you want to send" selection menu instead of the "accept / cancel" screen.

Its because all WP8 emojis work well on whatsapp now.

Whatsapp regularly has problems like this due to its immense popularity and the relative ineptitude of the people behind it.
