I have been using Windows Mobile OS since 2001, so I was wondering if Windows Phone 8 can sync with a desktop or laptop computer using the conventional Windows OS?
Traditionally, Windows Mobile OS have been able to sync with Windows PC's using either Activesync or the Windows Mobile Device Center.
And while you are here, can I also take this opportunity to ask if Windows Phone 8 can "tether" - that is, act like a 3G/4G modem when connected to a Windows 8 RT tablet??? Traditionally, the old Windows Mobile OS's could tether, and act as a 3G modem via USB connection to my Sony laptop when I attend seminars interstate...
