I have a user (I support 12 HTC8s users) who is abroad with his phone (but does not have an international data roaming add-on on his account).
He is reporting that when he tries to manually connect to wifi networks his handset is prompting him to turn on Data Roaming, which he is obviously unwilling to do.
Has anyone heard of this or similar?
My first reaction is to ask him to uninstall the 'Data Sense' app that tries to source wifi hotspots online and I am await word back to see if that worked. But I figured I'd put the question out there.
